![]() If it’s still out by a fair bit ~5-10 frame put it in to epn timer and update again. Now, you should’ve seen a change much closer to your frame (because the initial was put by 404)įind what frame you hit, it should be pretty close. I think where you’re going wrong is with the subtraction of 404 for the animation, technically yes you can do it that way but I’ve always had way more success with just going for the exact frame and letting eontimer do the calibration.ĭo your reset with the frame set to the shiny frame and the calibration to 0 If it makes any difference, I'm playing on a reproduction cart of Emerald, though I haven't had any real issues with it save for background audio becoming quieter after a save. Am I doing this correctly, or should I not subtract 404 on a failed attempt? Also, what exactly does this do? From there I capture the Latias, find its spread, subtract 404 from that frame, plug it into the Frame Hit box and hit update. ![]() Am I doing something wrong? Is there an easy way to tell which SID I should be using? I know I calculated them correctly because the method 2 SID matches up with the early shiny frame I found on my own, and I've been able to successfully use it.Īs for Eon Timer, how should I calibrate it? So far I've found my shiny frame using RNG Reporter, subtracted 404 from that frame to account for the encounter animation bit and done an attempt. I checked the other SID, found a spread that matched, and started RNGing using that one, but eventually I encountered a Latias with a spread not present on that SID. I RNGed with one until I encountered a Latias with a spread which didn't appear on the SID. I'm attempting to RNG a Southern Island Latias (glitzer popped the ticket into my game), but the applet gave me 2 possible method 1 SIDs, and I'm not sure which to use. I looked through the guides listed here, watched some videos, downloaded Eon Timer (version 1.6 if that matters), RNG Reporter and used the suggested applet to find my SID. Hey all, I've never really attempted rng abuse before, but after finding out that my Emerald file has an early shiny frame, I decided to give it a whirl.
